Visit by the Union Minister of State, Health & Family Welfare

The Union Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare, Mr. Dinesh Trivedi, visited Bilcare at our Rajgurunagar facility on February 17, 2010. Our honored guest was garlanded and welcomed with an aarti ceremony, before proceeding to a presentation about Bilcare Research and our products.

The Hon. Minister visited our Research and Development facility, where innovations in packaging for medicines and other products were highlighted. Following this, Mr. Trivedi stopped at our manufacturing facilities to observe the complete life cycle of our products. He also visited the clinical facility where testing and trials take place.

Mr. Trivedi expressed astonishment and delight at the technology and our innovations at Bilcare Research. He commented that these cutting edge products would make life better for our country, and that India was in the right hand with initiatives like this .

The main event of the day however was the unveiling of Bilcare’s nonClonableID™ Medicine Authentication Device-SX-21  by the Minister. This device will ensure safer and healthier access to medicines for Indian citizens.  An interactive symposium followed, where Bilcare professionals and the Minister discussed the new technology and other path breaking innovations that are the demand of the day.

The visit concluded with a walk through the meditation center, and a tree plantation to highlight our commitment to sustainable development for our country. A plaque was erected at the site to mark the event.
